New ideas, New experiences in the European Context
The Fundacio Mies Van der Rohe organised an architectural conference entitled Coup de Dés held in Barcelona in conjustion with the celebration of the granting ceremony of the 2007 edition of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies Van der Rohe Award.
The Coup de Dés conference consists of a series of recent architectural works presented by their authors and analysed by critics. Each presentation and subsequent dialogue will provide the opportunity to understand a particular work of architecture in relation to a broader discussion focused on a specific theme.
The theme of the second edition of Coup de Dés was New ideas, New experiences in the European Context and has been prepared in Barcelone on the 15 and 16 of May 2007.
