gau:di Competition

The Cité de l’architecture et du Patrimoine presents the results of the first European Student Competition on sustainable architecture, launched in 2006 within the framework of the European program gau:di.

The 10 winning projects are presented in an exhibition (models 1/20, film, prototype 1/5) at the Università IUAV, in the convent of Tolentini renewed by Carlo Scarpa. Two prototypes scale 1/1 are built at the entrance of the Biennale gardens on the wharf of Riva dei Sette Martiri.

The exhibition is accompanied with an international symposium: "Sustainable Architecture today ".
